The Upson-Lee Knight Theatre presents "The Girl in the White Pinafore" one act play TONIGHT and tomorrow at the ULHS Fine Arts Center! Each night, the play begins at 6:30pm! Adult tickets are $10 and students are $5. If you are a Thomaston-Upson County School employees get in free!
Tonight, the annual Title I Parent Meeting is scheduled for 4pm in the ULHS Media Center. Parent/Teacher conferences begin after the meeting at 4:30pm with teachers available until 6pm.

Upson-Lee High School 2024 4-Year Graduation Rate Sets a District Record
The Georgia Department of Education released state and district graduation rates on October 8, 2024. Upson-Lee High School's 2024 4-year graduation rate was 91.6%, the highest graduation rate on record for Thomaston-Upson County Schools. The ULHS 2024 graduation rate was 3.7 percentage points higher than the 2023 graduation rate, 6.17 percentage points higher than the 2024 state average of 85.4%, and 3.4 percentage points higher than the unofficial Regional Educational Service Agency (RESA) average of 88.2%. Thomaston-Upson County Schools is third in the RESA district for the highest 4-year district graduation rate in 2024.
“We are extremely proud of the 2024 Upson-Lee High School graduation rate of 91.6%, the highest 4-year graduation on record for our district,” stated Superintendent Dr. Larry Derico. “This milestone is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our students, teachers, staff, and families. This is a significant achievement for Upson-Lee High School; however, it also signifies a collective effort, prekindergarten through twelfth grade, to provide our students with the education and support they need to succeed,” he concluded.

Friday Night Lights! Your Upson-Lee Knights football team travels to Mary Persons High School tonight for an important matchup! The game kicks off at 7:30pm.

In addition to all the homecoming festivities next week, Seniors have a couple of extra activities to participate in!
On September 29, seniors are invited to decorate the courtyard windows (window paint is provided). On October 3rd, after the parade, seniors can paint the bank. Students must provide their own spray paint, but cannot leave Matthews Field with spray paint. Parents are welcome to pick up the paint once seniors have finished painting. Only class of 2025 students are allowed inside of Matthew’s Field for Paint the Bank.

Wednesday, The Thomaston Chamber of Commerce's Adult Leadership Upson was on campus here at Upson-Lee High School. The group members were able to tour our classes and check out the great technology we have for our students and teachers. Upson-Lee High School is very thankful to have such a wonderful relationship with our community leaders , and their continued support is invaluable to our students.

Today Mrs. Knight and Mrs. McCraney took 11th and 12th grade students who are a part of the High School High Tech program to tour The University of West Georgia. Go West, Go Wolves! HSHT provides information, programs and transition activities to enter technological careers, and facilitate a successful transition to post-secondary education and gainful employment.
The TU School System and Upson-Lee High School would like to remind you of important student/fan behavior expectations and stadium rules for football games at Matthews Stadium.
1. ALL students/fans should remain seated/standing in the bleachers throughout the games unless getting concessions or going to the restroom.
2. After going to the concession stand or restroom, students/fans should immediately return to their seats.
3. Ball playing or other games on the grass banks or side areas will not be allowed.
4. Loitering and/or congregating outside of the stands will not be allowed.
5. Please note that all restrooms and concession stands will be closed and locked at the 6-minute mark in the 4th quarter.
6. At the end of the game, all students/fans should exit and report to their cars. No loitering is permitted after the game in the parking lot or in the stadium.
7. The following items are NOT allowed at Matthews Field: backpacks, coolers, umbrellas, pets (with the exception of service dogs), weapons, tobacco products of any kind, vapes, and balloons.
Failure to comply with these rules and expectations could result in removal from the stadium. Thank you in advance for helping us to ensure student and spectator safety and to maintain a respectful and enjoyable environment for everyone at our Upson-Lee Knights football games.
