Spring has sprung at ULPK. Our entrance sign has never looked better. A huge thank you to Tyler Jordan for his service project for his AP Government class at ULHS

Spring buckets and bins are a class 🌸 FAVORITE 🌸 in Mrs. Ashley and Mrs Krystal’s class! 🐝

We started learning about spring today! Mrs. Ashley’s small group made “Counting Carrots” and Mrs. Krystal’s small group made “Rainbow Name-bows”.

Coming to the Upson-Lee Fine Arts Center April 17, 18, and 19: "The SpongeBob Musical"!!! When the citizens of Bikini Bottom discover that a volcano will soon erupt and destroy their humble home, SpongeBob and his friends must come together to save the fate of their undersea world. With lives hanging in the balance and all hope lost, a most unexpected hero rises up. The power of optimism really can save the world! "The SpongeBob Musical" is based on the animated series created by Stephen Hillenburg. See you at the FAC!

Center time is so much fun in Mrs. Ashley and Mrs. Krystal’s class!

Mrs. Ashley’s small group raced through space to find the beginning sound for each object we pulled out of the mystery box.

Look at these smiles in Mrs. Alisa & Mrs. Shelli’s class. Small group learning time is the best time of our day!!

More ways the sun shows its power. We are placing objects on paper and letting the sun fade the paper to make art.

Ms. Jennifer's class is exploring how the sun makes shadows. They are using objects to make shadows and then tracing their outlines.

Mrs. Ashley and Mrs. Krystal’s class enjoyed exploring Space books. We reviewed the parts of the book (cover, spine, top, bottom, title, etc.). We also practiced turning one page at a time and pointing out the words and pictures. The children even practiced telling the story by using pictures as clues.

Mrs. Alisa & Mrs. Shelli’s class created a day/night book during center time.

Thank you to our school board!!

Mrs. Ashley’s small group opened “moon rocks”, named the letter and sound, and marked it on their space recording page.
