Have you ever wanted to be in band but thought it was too late to learn? Upson-Lee High School and Mr. Born, our Director of Bands, offers a beginning band class each semester that adds brand new students to band. Absolutely no experience is necessary to take this class. The Georgia Milestone End of Course Tests are next week, December 9th-13th.   The American Literature EOC will be given on December 9th and 10th.  The Algebra Concepts and Connections EOC will be given on December 11th and 12th.  The US History and Biology EOCs will be given on December 13th.  Please make sure you arrive to school by 7:53 AM on the day of testing.  Cell phones and other electronic devices are not allowed in the testing environment.

Reminder for ULHS Students taking the SAT tomorrow, December 7th... Report to the main entrance (front of the school) at 7:30 am and have with you a government issued ID, your Collegeboard.org User ID and password, and your test ticket. You may bring your own charged device or borrow a school Chromebook.

The PBIS team would like to present the 12 Days of Christmas!! We would love for all students and staff to partake in this joyous activity as we prepare for Christmas. The attached calendar lists each dress up days theme.

ULHS students toured Mercer University earlier in the week.

Two of our senior football players let the world know where they will be playing college football next year! Today, Dh'King Brown signed with Wofford College and Akeondre Chaney announced he will be playing football for Georgia Southern University! Congratulations to these young men. We are so proud of you!

We would like to thanks students, parents, faculty and staff for contributing to our annual Toys for Tots fundraiser. We collected over 400 toys this year!!

Mrs. Berry and Ms. Bishop's American Literature Milestone Review is off to a great start! Students built Jenga towers and if they pulled a numbered block out, they answered that number from their worksheets aligned to GA ELA Craft & Structure standards.

Senior Ads have been extended until December 19th! What are senior ads? This is where parents share photos of their graduates and leave them a message of congratulations that will appear in the school yearbook. You can pay online at yearbookforever.com and design your ad yourself. If you prefer for the yearbook graphic design staff to make your ad, you can pay by cash or check to Mr. Norris in room 203. You can send photos digitally or have photos scanned when you pay. Full page ads are $300, 1/2 page are $200, and 1/4 page ads are $125. Yearbooks are currently $80 but will raise in price to $90 after the Christmas holidays. Make sure you buy your yearbook in room 203 or pay online at yearbookforever.com before December 19th.

Important reminders for students when they return from Thanksgiving break. Exam exemption forms may be picked up in the front office on December 2 and must be returned December 6th. Early release forms for December 19th will be available in your 4th block class starting December 2nd and due back to your 4th block teacher by Friday December 6th. Students that do not bring back the form completed will not be able to check out on December 19th until all early release students have been released.
