The Thomaston-Upson County Board of Education is actively engaged in the process of selecting our district’s next Superintendent, and your voice matters.
Planning for the search began on February 10, 2026, and the Board has partnered with Georgia Leadership Associates to assist throughout the process. A vacancy notice was released on February 12, with an application deadline of March 12, 2026.
As part of the selection process, the Board has launched an online survey to gather feedback from stakeholders across our community. All parents, students, staff, and community members are strongly encouraged to participate. The information collected will play an important role in guiding the Board’s decision.
Board members will carefully review all responses, and your input is both valued and appreciated as we work to select the next leader for Thomaston-Upson County Schools.
