At last night's Board of Education meeting, Superintendent Dr. Larry Derico recognized the Thomaston-Upson School Board. He stated, "This is Georgia School Board Appreciation Week, a weeklong observance honoring the contributions of local boards of education. We are extremely fortunate in our community to have board members who embrace and embody our vision for the future of Thomaston-Upson Schools. I want to thank you for the many hours you serve our schools, our students, and our community in efforts to ensure that we always provide excellence in education for every individual, every day! You are very appreciated!" UL students also made posters and cards thanking BOE members for their service. BIG THANKS to students and teachers for helping us to celebrate our AMAZING School Board!!!
